Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

To disseminate the studies carried out in Neuroscience, the Academic League of Neuroscience and Behavior members - LANeCom, organized and promoted webinars to diffuse the knowledge produced by researchers from FMRP and FFCLRP at the University of São Paulo. The activities were exhibited on Youtube, with an average of 287 daily views. In total, there were 2,295 views until May 5, 2021. The viewer was primarily Brazilian (88.7%), and the spectator's age range as, 39% of the between 18 and 24 years; 48.4% were between 25 and 34 years old; 8.4% were between 35 and 44 years old, and 4.2% of the listeners were between 35 and 44 years old—the public. Most listeners were female (83.2%), and only 16.8% were male. The LANeCom promoted the discussion about attention to psychosocial implications and the understanding of stressful situations in children and young people, especially now in the pandemic, with social isolation and worsening vulnerability. Also, the application of techniques to reduce anxiety and discussions about healthy eating and tips for promoting healthy and sustainable eating and how voice recognition could influence social relationships in non-human animals and humans were discussed. The effects of Cannabidiol on neurological disorders, disinformation about the nervous system ("Neuromyths"), and feminism's contributions in the scientific career were some topics addressed. Reflections on how unrealistic optimism may be contributing to the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic, affecting the formulation of public policies. Finally, the Paulista Brain Bee stimulates studies and research in ​​neuroscience for elementary and high school students, promoting approximation between students and universities.
