Details of Major Brain Awareness Week Events/Activities:

The main goal was to educate the general public on how the pandemic and viruses effect our brain. Our lecturers highlited the key information on how to stay safe, how to cope with limitations the pandemic has put in front of us and pointed out the importance of mental health and sleep. Nevertheless they discussed interesting topics as well as some of the new discoveries in the world of neuroscience. The youngest had the chance to take part in our workshops where we taught them the basics of sleep, immunity, viruses, brain and lab work. Through lectures, games and quiz we made these topics easily understandable and available to all age groups. All of the lectures were recorded and uploaded on YouTube so that in future they could be used as class materials as well. Despite all the obstacles pandemic has set up we managed to organize many activities and achieve our goals.
